Mouthwash

Mouthwash is the final step in your oral care routine. After brushing, you rinse your whole mouth with it, including the spots your toothbrush can't easily reach, and keep your breath fresh. At Boozyshop you'll find mouthwash with a mild or intense mint flavour, fruity versions and chlorhexidine mouth rinses. For on the go there are mouth sprays and breath strips.

Mouthwash for Fresh Breath

What Does Mouthwash Do?

Mouthwash doesn't replace brushing; it complements it. A mouth rinse freshens your breath and leaves your mouth feeling clean. Depending on the formula, mouthwash can also help against plaque or support your gums. So always check the packaging to see what a mouthwash is intended for and how often to use it.

Mouthwash for Daily Use

For every day, choose a mouthwash with a flavour you enjoy. The Breath Co has Icy Mint for intense freshness and Mild Mint for those who prefer something gentler. Euthymol has large 500 ml bottles, including Mouthwash Icy Mint and Mouthwash Mild Mint. Fancy something other than mint? There's the Purple Mouthwash and the fruity Nice Smile mouthwashes from XOC in Grape, Peach and Watermelon.

Chlorhexidine Mouthwash

Curasept has the ADS chlorhexidine mouth rinses in a strength of 0.05% and 0.20%. These are mouth rinses for a specific use, for example on the advice of your dentist or dental hygienist. Always follow the instructions and the advice on how long to use them.

Mouth Sprays and Breath Strips for On the Go

Need fresh breath fast after lunch, before an appointment or on a night out? A mouth spray fits in any bag. Haan has mouth sprays in Good On Ya, Life's A Beach and Apple A Day. Breath strips are thin strips that dissolve on your tongue: no water or rinsing needed. You'll find the Fresh Breath Strips and the Breath Strips Strawberry from Clearsmile, also as a 4 Pack.

How to Use Mouthwash

  • After brushing: use mouthwash after brushing and flossing.
  • Use the right amount: use the cap or measuring cup and stick to the recommended amount.
  • Rinse and spit: swish it around your whole mouth for about 30 seconds to a minute and don't swallow it.
  • Don't rinse straight away: don't rinse with water immediately afterwards.

Pair your mouthwash with a matching toothpaste or give oil pulling a try. Find more in our oral care category.
