How to use

Prepare your nails well by cleaning and degreasing them.
Apply a thin layer of gel polish to your nails.
Cure the gel polish under a UV/LED lamp.
If desired, apply a second layer and cure it again.
Finish with a top coat for extra shine and protection, and cure this as well.

Do I need a lamp for gel polish?

Yes. Gel polish does not dry in the air, it cures under UV or LED light. Without a lamp the layer stays soft and sticky. You will find lamps under UV and LED lamps.

Do I need a base and top coat as well?

Yes, and it saves you a lot of hassle. The base gives the color grip on your nail and the top coat seals everything off, so your manicure lasts for weeks. Have a look at base coat and top coat.

How do I remove gel polish?

File off the shiny layer, place a cotton pad with remover on your nail and wrap foil around it. After about ten minutes the layer slides off with a cuticle pusher. Better not to pull or pick at it, because you take nail with it.
